I'm so stupidly hooked on this show. I pray the writers don't fuck them over this year; it almost physically hurt to watch Dean by the end of last season.

It is the Deanpain that has kept me hooked all along. If he suddenly got all happy, I'd be glad for a second, and then I think I'd get bored.

Does that make me a sadist? ;)

Oh, I don't know if I want him perfectly happy, because I know how dangerous perfect happiness is. It was just that they kept writing him as more and more broken until it felt to me like there wasn't anybody left inside Dean and he was willing to say yes just to make it stop. Which is when Cas beat him up, because Cas walling Dean makes everything better. (Sorry, I ship them kinda hard.) I don't want him to be that broken, because at that point I feel like killing him would be kinder.

They have to find that perfect balance -- just enough Deanpain without it being DEADLY Deanpain.
