I feel a little bad that I go on pushing you - but the pleasure of seeing Buffy, Angel and Spike in the same scene is such a big temptation that I can't stop whining and annoying you! :)

(I tried to write a schmoopy fic for IWRY marathon but the story turned out pretty sad. Grrr!)

No, no, the pressure is good! It keeps me coming back to it instead of just letting it go. I hate leaving things unfinished. They haunt me, I swear.

Oh, I so feel you on IWRY. I'm working on schmoop_bingo, and the first story I wrote was a cute little ficlet about Buffy and Angel riding in the Pontiac in the daylight (it should be up today). Though the moment is sweet, it's full of bittersweet IRONY, since you know it's the only time it will ever happen. Does that even count as schmoop?

Angst is part of the package, with these two. I'm just addicted to the fluff. It's like my flu shot against the angst. ;)

I have to turn up SPN to 11 when I watch, which makes it a bitch when the commercials come on. I get a lot of practice lunging for my mute button.

So is that a CW thing, then? Because it makes me NUTSO.

Yes, of course, hork away! I laughed my arse off. Belzer, man! I had forgotten he was a wacked out comic as well as an awesome detective on SVU!

I love your icon! Modern Family gives me major happies. This week's, like I said, almost killed me. THE CHICKEN THING! LOL Scaring death out of the food. She is awesome. Actually, they all are, that's part of why the show is so amazing.

it kinda makes me feel old that most people think of belzer as the buy on SVU but for me he'll always be the whacked out standup guy i used to see at comedy clubs...

the perfection of modern family sometimes awes me. funny, snark, each line a dialogue a gem and yet totally full of love (AGGRESSIVELY HAPPY EVER AFTER. I love that) Only got the first season on over here right now. Will be looking for an online source pretty soon, but please tell me there is no sophomore slump in S2...

I was too young to ever see Belzer live, but I had tapes of him, along with classic Cheech & Chong and Carlin. The good old days of comedy. ;)

So far -- we're only two episodes in -- there's no sophomore slump for Modern Family. Both episodes made me laugh so hard it hurt, and made me go Awwww at the end. ;)

I’m excited about the fic for IWRY. You know the drill for fic, but if you could include this info that will be useful:

Your email address for feedback, story summary, rating and if you would rather have a link to your LJ or another website instead. Oh, and we can offer betas if you want one. Just shout at me or any of the team and we’ll arrange it for you.

BTW, schmoopy is a strange word. It’s not used at all over here, and it makes me think of syrup. No idea why…

Do you want that info for the old fic as well? I'm trying to finish up some old IWRY-thon fics that I left hanging and I keep saying I'm going to finish. I do have one plot bunny for a longer (but not epic) piece that will be brand new for this year.

The betas will definitely come in handy! I'll poke you when I'm at a loss for one!

Well, that schmoopy reminds you of syrup is perfect, because that's exactly what it means! Schmoopy is syrupy, fluffy, sugary, like a big fistful of happy cotton candy. ;)

I like to think of it as AGGRESSIVELY HAPPILY EVER AFTER.

Probably, yes. You can either send those finished (old) stories to Chris so that she can update her archive, or to me, and I’ll send her copies as well. This years’ fic - in case you are wondering - should be sent to me.

Cotton Candy is that fluffy pink stuff that makes your teeth hurt, yes? We call that candyfloss!

AGGRESSIVELY HAPPILY EVER AFTER sounds good to me!

I knew that you had taken over IWRY. Would you rather I sent old stuff to you and Chris, or.. what would be the easiest for you? I know you've got a ton on your plate!

Oh yeah, Cotton candy is just whipped sugar. I think other parts of the world call it candy floss. We call it "DON'T GIVE IT TO YOUR KIDS AT THE FAIR OR THEY'LL BE CLIMBING THE WALLS ALL NIGHT." LOL

I also have plans to finish Rise

I can't tell you how excited I got reading this. I love the first part of that story and have always hoped there would be more.

Okay, you've posted it. Now you have to follow through. :-)
