Ok, this first one is more of a kung fu movie than anything but it has some great cheesy gore that any horror fan will love
Riki Oh, The Story of Riki
Ichi the Killer
Drag Me To Hell (should still be in the theaters)
Dead Hate The Living
Fido
Day of the Dead remake (I enjoyed it more than I thought I would)
The Convent
Poultreygeist Night of the Chicken Dead (cheesy Troma movie at its finest)
One Missed Call (original Japanese version)
Sleepaway Camp trilogy
These movies should give you some good scares, some good gore in a couple of them, and some just tons of fun.

Yay! I love horror recs, added them to the list! A million thank yous!
J-Horror TERRIFIES ME. I'm still recovering from Audition.
I LOVE Troma! I don't think I've seen that one.
Is Day of the Dead the one with the mall, or is that Dawn of the Dead?
Thanks again!

Read through some of your posts, liked it.
Love 100 movie lists, still haven't posted mine but I'm going to.
I'm glad that you don't think Sweeney Todd was the best musical movie to ever grace this planet. I walked out of the theatre with everyone saying how great it was and I was just kind of "ehhh, it was okay."
Secretly think they are all biased because omg it's Johnny Depp.

I do think Johnny is one of the great actors of the generation (he's only a few years older than me, so I'll say MY generation), but that doesn't mean the parts he plays or the movies they're in are always fantastic. Sweeny Todd didn't totally suck eggs, but it certainly wasn't the amazing, dark musical oddity I expected it to be. Even with Alan Rickman (who I generally adore) and Helena Bonham Carter, who will forever be forgiven anything because of fight club.
It should have been SO much better! So yeah, I'm with you on the meh. I mean, shouldn't it have been creepy? It wasn't even creepy. The stupid play is creepy!
Heh. Sorry, I do go on. To much coffee today, I expect. *G*

At the end of Hancock, I was left all... WTF? That's IT? It's like half the movie was missing or something -- or like, the middle third, maybe. Very strange.

Aimee and Jaguar. It's in German, but hey, subtitles do exist for those of us unfamiliar with the language. The story centers on a Nazi housewife in Berlin who falls in love with an underground-Jewish woman. It's really fabulous and poignant, and based on a true story, no less.
