(no subject)
another quick update from my dad's - still no internet at the place we're housesitting... we were hoping to find a wireless network we could hop on, but all the nearby networks are secured and we can't seem to get on the nextdoor neighbours network, even though he gave us what he thinks is his network key.... he figures it must be a mac-pc issue.
onto the update - (cue howling child) - things are going well... the moving truck arrives tonight - which means I will finally have some decent shoes. Sebastian loves the place we're staying... he has learned to climb stairs (going back down is another story - and yes, we have and are using baby gates) - he also loves watching the world go by from the large front windows.
Andrew and are still feeling unsettled... I hope that the arrival and unpacking of our remaining belongings will help us shake these feelings. He has started paiting our bedroom in the house we will be living in after March 1 - it looks awesome. He has also been working out floor-plans for the rest of the house that have now made it past the other two occupants of the house - much to our joy (since we're taking away the TV in the living room - we really expected more resistance).
okay - I have to go... lil S needs a nap, which means it is time to go home.... I will pop back over here before the end of the week and get the rest of the news out.
