The first day of work (well actually the first day of starting on the pay rooll) has been completed. I left home around five after seven and got there at a quarter to eight. So I was a little bit early as I waited for someone to show up who worked at the lab to open the door for me to go in. A lady who worked at the clinic in the same building let me in, which was nice.
There was a bit of a hassle for my first pick up - since the previous driver was suppose to be a passenger to make sure I know where I was going to the proper destinations. It came to one destination where I spent the majority of the morning hours in finding it. I hardly know a lot of Vancouver and Richmond which are the two major cities where I do a majority of my deliveries and pick ups. I went onto Marine Drive from the Arthur Laingy (sp?) Bridge (which is the major connector from Vancouver to the International Airport). However, giving up because I could not find the right street (Main St.).
I went in the opposite direction because I thought I may of missed it. It turned out, I didnt miss it, I was going the wrong way the second time. Yes, I am a friggin stubborn individual when it comes to my sense of direction. I eventually found the place around eleven o'clock. I was not happy, though most jobs like this can be stressful, so I'll get use to getting lost and finding my way to the place where I should be.
