My Silver Cowboy Boots of the Day
Started reading "The Once and Future King" for the first time ever, and so I was sitting on the bus with this massive book, giggling to myself like a madwoman. Clearly I have the mind of a child, because I am SO AMUSED by the silliest of things. Though I think my being obsessed with really into BBC's Merlin and those characters means I'm going into it already having a fondness for the characters, even though it's a completely different canon. I like the thought of the BBC Arthur once having been this little "Wart" kid, no matter how inaccurate that may be. But I'm only like 40 pages in, so IDK.
On another note, I decided to do the female character meme, but rather than do it in both journals, I'll just link you through to my other journal. You should participate! It's fun and not too much commitment in terms of posting it yourself (if you so choose). Also, I've only had one reply so far! :(

I was also thinking today that it would be cool to do a postcard exchange with someone(s) I've never met IRL. Sort of like a penpal kind of thing, where I'd go buy a cool/interesting/boring/whatever postcard somewhere, write a little something about where I bought it, why I chose it, or just blather on about something ridiculous, and send it to you, and once you got it, you would do the same for me. And it would just go back and forth until you don't want to do it anymore. I haven't really thought out the logistics entirely, just popped into my head during class. Because I like getting mail, but I never get any, because I do everything via email. (No, I don't have this romantic notion that hand-written letters are somehow better than emails, I just like getting mail/postcards.) I dunno, would anyone be interested? Anyone? Bueller?
