IN this corner, weighin' in at "Fat as Hell" with a height of roughly 5'11, we have The I-Talian St-Alian.."X" (I should note here that "Italian"=="Not Italian). And in the other corner, weighin in at .05 ounces with a kernel that just won't compile...GENTOO!
Basically, the fight has been like Rocky Balboa fighting Corky from that dumbtarded show that was on CBS. I've done everything from screw up the Portage extraction/update to attempting to download/tar-extract the source to the CD. It's okay though, 'cause it's proving that I'm actually much dumber than I look.
Current Gentoo Problem: Kernel Panic!!
Concerts...that's what it's about. February was Disturbed, with the SCG (Standard Concert Group) plus one. The plus one in question decided she wanted to be close to the stage...at the Tabernacle...at a Disturbed show. Not being one to back down from anything, I also ventured to the front, and ended up roughly 10-feet from the stage. Being that close, I realized a few things:
David Draiman scares the Shiznit out of me.
IT'S A LITTLE LOUD THAT CLOSE
There are, uh, butts there.
Fat bald dudes covered in hair don't believe in shirts.
Women that resemble quadrapeds shouldn't flash the stage (are those b00bz or neck-waddles?)
So, there's lotsa shows comin' up. March brings Nickelback, Trapt, and Chevelle on the 17th, while April brings eerily high-pitched Muppet Man Claudio Sanchez and his band Coheed & Cambria with Avenged Sevenfold (the 14th?). You wanna go? THEN GO foo'!
Are you on myspace yet? You aren't? Good, don't go, like crack that thing is. But if you DO go, add me! Same bat-name, same bat-channel.
