(no subject)
We are back home again. I had so much fun this weekend. I got to see some friends that I haven't been able to see if person for a few years, and of course, we got very, drunk but not naked, which I think shows a distinct rise in the overall maturity level.:-P As we sat around talking, it became very clear that ALL of our stores begin with the phrase, "remember that time we were drunk and naked..."
By the way, here is the big secret. Brian and I are for real married now. We have been together for ten years and have a kid; we just hadn't bothered with the pesky paper work. Most people actually just assumed we were married, and we didn't usually go to great lengths to correct them.
We lured everyone to Cooper's Rock and had my friend Dale serve as minister. It was beautiful. The leaves were just starting to turn in the valley below. We were a little worried about the weather cooperating, but it ended up being a bright, sunny, crisp fall day, the likes of which you only find, in my completely unbiased opinion, in West Virginia. There were hawks circling over the main rock and the valley. It was a completely no-frills event that couldn't have been more perfect.
Afterwards, we took everyone out for a Middle Eastern buffet (YUMMY!!)
