I don't like Mondays...
Sunday night was pretty cool though. So was Saturday.
So let's start there.
Saturday night was Grease night. I still don't like the last ten minutes of it, but I couldn't fault the performance. Craig McLaughlin's stunned reaction to the shocks lost a lot of his humour as it went on, so by the time the new Sandy turns up it was pretty much old hat. But Nat B was just fantastic. Am glad that I paid for the good seats - not only did I have a good view but the pre-show drinks and food was great. Even better, the interval drinks. Plastic wine glasses... with an LED strip in the stem that gave off pretty colours.
Yeah, big kid.
Last night my glass got an outing as I sat up 'til midnight with a bunch of guys from the hostel, drinking wine. Naturally, that meant this morning I wasn't full of the joys of spring!
But it was a good weekend. J told me that I could take whatever time I needed to sort things out, he finally came out and said that he really likes me! On top of that I've finally gone to the local pool and got one of their passes. I also went to a deep water aqua class yesterday and had great fun. So yeah, I guess the heavy chlorine smell is going to become a norm for me... *g*
