New Job
Had my first day at my new job, today. It seemed to go pretty well - I mean, a retail job is a retail job is a retail job, really. My manager was 'impressed' at how fast I was picking stuff up, but really...its not exactly rocket science, is it? The girls I've met so far seem nice enough. No visible tattoos rule is annoying but not surprising. Nobody ever seems to notice my 'visible tattoos' until I point them out, anyway.
In other news, I got a call from Student Marketing/Apple today, and they want me to work on a marketing campaign for ten weeks in August/September. This is pretty awesome. What is even more awesome is that they want to fly me out to Melbourne for training, next week. The bad news is, I am working on one of the training days, next week. So I guess I'll ask my boss, tomorrow, if I can maybe switch a shift with someone. Free trip to Melbourne? I'm hardly going to say no, am I?
And Diva want to interview me next week, too.
