Willow, the mum-cat from the group of cats I most recently fostered, is in back room at the Cat Haven. What this means, essentially, is that if she is not adopted pretty much today, she will be euthanised. Willow is a healthy adult cat. She is affectionate (ridiculously so - if you put your hand up in the air she will rise onto her back legs so she can rub her head against it - she puts her paws around your neck when you cuddle her), lively, and beautiful to look at (the picture is not the best - you'll just have to trust me ;) ).
She has gone to back room because her kittens are sneezing. Even the kittens are not sick - they've been sniffling on and off for a few weeks but have no sign of eye-gunk or ulcers which would indicate flu. Most likely their noses are being irritated by the sawdust in their litter. All the kittens will be fine, as Freedom was able to get them into the SAFE program (Saving Animals From Euthanisa), but SAFE have no room for Willow.
Please, if there is ANY way you might have room for a fluffy in your house, consider taking Willow home. I was bowled over how beautiful, friendly and loving this cat is, when I took her into my home. Adopting her from the Haven will cost, but the package includes sterilisation, microchipping, etc - so it's a pretty good deal.
This is sort of my last hope, and I know that most of you who are cat people already have too many/enough kitties. Still, I thought it was a try. Please, if there's any way you would consider it call the Haven on 9442 3600, ask for Freedom, and tell her you want to adopt Willow. I would seriously love you forever (or possibly longer than forever). She is such a beautiful cat and it hurts me to think of her being put down for NO REASON.
Thanks guys.
