Hi everyone! I'm feeling desperate today so thought I'd do a mail bomb... please pass this on to everyone you can, I'm serious that these kitties really need a home as soon as possible. I'm already in trouble for saving their lives today, so please help if you can!! Thank you! :-)

Meet 'Kenny', 'Bunny' and 'Elaine.' These three stunning little kittens are about 8 weeks old and are looking for loving homes. They will sadly have to be put to sleep if they can't find homes within the next few days.
At the Cat Haven, we have now hit busy season, with kittens coming in every day, usually about 30 though last monday we had 65 and this number is only going to go up and up. Kitten season will continue through till at least March next year. Unfortunately there just aren't as many homes as there are kittens. These three have shown some very very mild symptoms of having cat flu (ie, the occasional sneeze). They have been steadily gaining weight (in fact they are very big for their age) and have no signs of weeping eyes, lethargy or other flu symptoms. They should make a full recovery and have no long term complications. The only problem is that we can't risk spreading the flu to every single kitten at the Haven, so they have had to return to short term foster care.
As they are still officially Cat Haven Kittens, they will need to be adopted following normal protocol; the adoption price is $170 including sterilising, microchipping, first and second F4 vaccinations, worm and flea treatment and a bag of Hills kitten food. (That's over $300 worth). Or if you were interested in taking two of these little guys, we offer a 2 for 1 package, in which you pay for one kitten and then simply for the vaccinations of the second; so altogether, the cost is $205.
'Kenny' is the little tabby boy, who looks just like a miniature tiger with his gorgeous, well defined stripes. He can be a little timid but loves cuddles and enjoys exploring.
'Elaine' is a silver tabby with thick striping across her body. She is the most out-going of the bunch and loves to roll around and play with her siblings.
'Bunny' is not particularly keen on having her photo taken, unfortunately, but picture a cross between Kenny and Elaine - silver like elaine, but with thin stripes just like Kenny. She is an absolute stunner to look at! She can also be a little shy and wouldn't be good with young kids, but is still cuddly and loves to be handled, and will come out of her shell very quickly.
If you are interested in any of these gorgeous little guys, please contact Freedom by e-mail freedom_the_vegan@yahoo.com.au or freedom.bradbury@cathaven.com.au or on 9442 3618 (during business hours) or 0403 152 991 (any time).
Hope to hear from you soon!!

I know some of you may be considering getting a pet/kitten over the holiday period. Please, if you do/are considering adopting, adopt from the Cat Haven. Pet store cats are almost guaranteed a home because they receive such a lot of exposure, sitting there all day in the middle of a mall. The Haven receives little to no government funding and as such far fewer people are aware of their existence, or how much they do for the cats - or how much they need our help!
Save a life. Adopt Kenny, Elaine or Bunny :)
