Well this is my second night in a row staying up past 3...so much for getting a lot of studying done for finals. Today was a very, very good day. I woke up nice and slow and went to my last spanish class where we had a little fiesta. Then I came home and took a nap since I had about 5 hours of sleep. I went to the mall with Brandon where we watched little kids with Santa and made fun of weird townies. I bought the most awesome red beaded clutch from The Limited. Came back to TriDeltaland and Natalie and I cleaned out the basement. Since I'm house manager I have to keep everything to code and unfortunately, the girl before me did NOTHING. So we were down there for like 3 hours moving stuff around and laughing at old clothes/books/journals/pictures. Then we ordered Love Shack (my new favorite food) and watched Madagascar in 2-6 with Sarah and Sasha. Then around 12:30 we decided that we wanted to go sledding, so we did. My house is the top of Slayter Hill, which is where everyone goes to sled. So we just crossed the street and sledded for about an hour. The snow was all packed down and was basically a sheet of ice, which made sledding very fun. Sledding down was fun because you had to yell at all the people walking up warning them to get out of the way and walking up was fun dodging all the people coming down. The new sled seems to be the top of a big plastic containter. There were also the classic dining-hall trays and cookie sheets. I also saw a mattress and a surf board. Why anyone has a surf board here is beyond me. While we were sitting at the bottom talking this guy just unbuttoned his pants and peed on a tree. It was pretty much awesome. Then we came back and made snow angels in the fresh snow in our yard. Inside we had hot chocolate (of course) and Natalie said something funny and Sarah spewed hot chocolate all over everyone, just like in the movies!
Tomorrow will be a big challenge to top today with PMO Christmas Show (dateish) and then Kappa Sigs infamous Christmas Party. My new clutch should make an excellent acessory for both. :) TriDelta feels more like home every day that I live here. I can't wait to live in the AOA (my pledge class) block next semester weeeeee!!
