Seeing as I rarely post, I've decided to take the time and do a little something I stole from Molly (no, not that, you dirty, dirty person you):
one song
one song from early childhood:
"Baby Beluga" by Rafi
one song you associate with your first big love:
"Dry the Rain" - the Beta Band (yeah, that sounds good)
or "Suggestion Box" - Aqueduct (if the first one doesn't count for some reason)
one song that reminds you of one of your holidays:
some Israeli folk song my dad plays
one song you like, but hate to admit:
"Cry Me a River" - Justin Timberlake
one song listened to while you were lovesick:
"Tres" - Pinback
one song you listened to most often in your life:
I... don't... know....
one song which is your favorite instrumental:
"Fallen Heart" - Jeremy Enigk
one song by one of your favorite bands:
"Ambulance" - TV on the Radio (of course)
one song in which you recognize yourself or through which you somehow feel understood:
Same TV on the Radio Song
one song which reminds you of a certain occasion (and the occasion):
"Best Looking Boys" - The Promise Ring, which reminds me of Becca and I screwing around at work over the summer (you love that song, don't you Keara. Admit it, do it!)
one rap/hip-hop song you like:
"Brothers Gonna Work It Out" - Public Enemy (it just keeps going and going...)
one song that helps you relax:
"Carry Me Ohio" - Sun Kil Moon
one song which symbolizes a great time in your life:
"Get Myself Arrested" - Gomez
one song which is your favorite at the moment:
"Dance of Days" - Embrace
one song you would dedicate to your best friend:
Umm... the Numa Numa song?
one song no one besides you likes:
"Elephants" - Food For Animals
one song you like because of its lyrics:
"Guitar and Video Games" - Sunny Day Real Estate
one song you like which is not in english:
"In the Sheen Biz" - Shabak (They either say something racist, sexual, or both. And in Hebrew!)
one song that helps you work out:
HA! Umm... I guess it'd have to be Powerman 5000's "When Worlds Collide," cause the last time I had any sort of strenuous work out was when they were my favorite band.
Hooray! Done with the semester, and done with language forever!
