Enough Politics . . . CANDY!
(FYI: I didn't bite the kiss on the right in half with little, itty-bitty cat-like (front) teeth---I used a serrated butter knife )
I bought the limited edition "Pumpkin Spice" Hershey Kisses yesterday. The orange shell is a spicy nutmeg/cinnamon/clove-flavored confection, filled, I think, with the same center as their "cheesecake" kiss. I am a little disappointed that there isn't ANY pumpkin flavor to them (which I suppose is why they're called pumpkin spice and not pumpkin pie). I think they could be easily renamed "Rich Custard" flavored Hershey Kisses; all Hershey would have to do is change the orange dye to pale yellow.
Due to the richness of them, I cannot eat more than 2 or 3 in one sitting (which is probably a good thing), but they are quite yummy.
(Oh man, I just had a thought: these would be awesome in the centers of peanut butter cookies!)
