Well I just got my acceptance letter from Southwestern University, a pretty selective school that I was seriously considering before I got enamoured with Austin College.
NYU and USC also accepted me, but I'm almost certainly not going to either of those, but it's still good to know that I've got a bright future ahead of me.
In retrospect, I believe that I would have ahd a much better shot at getting into Rice had I submitted my Common Application; the one that I completed after I had had a lot of practice.
But in the end it worked out favorably for me, so I'm more than happy.
