(no subject)
-Worked on my short story first thing in the morning. Got three and a half good paragraphs in there
-Got kicked out of Art of the Short Story for not bringing a book. Went out to lunch with Pen and Andy. That wasn't so bad. I haven't talked to Andy in a while, either. I also declined to buy myself a soda and settled for snapple instead
-Submitted my short story Can't to a writing competition. If you haven't read it... it is the shit. It will win.
-Wrote a letter to Marion. We agreed that getting mail is nice.
-Walked the dogs to my favorite spot in the park. Dropped the contest submission and Marion's letter in the mailbox. Sat on my favorite tree. Cleaned up the trash that some punk ass kids left out in the dust bowl.
-Pulled out some color pencils and worked for almost an hour drawing a nice little picture. I like the way it's turning out
-Started making two little walnut shell boats
And here I am. I don't know. Today's just nice for some reason
