Vroom Vroom
Well Mike and I have been very busy little people. We have been fixing up the house slowly yet surely. I finally got my curtains up in the Dining room, changed a few light bulbs, did tons of laundry. Mike and I also washed the cars. My 240sx is finally white again instead of brown. lol. The Altima got a good scrub down and we washed the black 240. Speaking of which, we also dropped the new battery into it. That car has been sitting for half a year without someone touching it. It was a good yard decoration and I was afraid that all the fluids had set up in it and that the engine wouldn't turn over. Mike put the key in the ignition and cranked that baby up. She started up beautifully as if she had only been parked there yesterday.
I love that car. Got to love a good 240. We cleaned out the garage a bit so that we have plenty of working space and pulled the newly washed and started 240 in. So now she is quite happy sitting nice and dry in her new home. Of course as you know this means that we are almost ready to begin working on her. We went out and bought a very nice 8 gallon air compressor, pneumatic air gun sets, tons of new tools, and we even got me a gravity fed automotive spray gun so that I can paint the car myself. Happy day! My kit came with the main body gun and a detail gun. I also have my own fine detailing air brush packed up somewhere. My next personal step is to go to a scrap yard and pick up a couple of fenders to practice sanding down, stripping and painting.
Some more interesting news. Remember our good friend Dave? He is moving in with Mike and I. He was living with Angela and her boyfriend for a while until he found out that they weren't paying their half of the bills. He was paying for his share but they weren't and now they are getting evicted. This sucks for Dave because he didn't do anything wrong and seeing has how he had nowhere to go we are cleaning out our 4th bedroom so that he can stay there for a little while. We are even letting him use our awesome mini-fridge. Lucky guy. XD
