Alright, I should definately have my loan in about 2 and a half weeks. Then I can pay tuition and apply for classes next term.
They worked very slowly on my loan, and because of that it wasn't finished until the beginning of November. Apparently it was ready for me on Nov. 7, but of course they didn't give it to me because (since I hadn't gotten a loan yet) they had begun to charge me interest on outstanding fees. That means that they (without informing me) held back my loan, which I needed to eat and pay for school, because I owe them a whopping fucking $8.36. That's right, I didn't get several thousand dollars because they were that fucking petty.
The woman on the phone told me that everything was in order and that all I needed to do was pay the money and I'll get my loan. Then she mentioned the 6 business days it would take to process the withdrawel of the $8.36 from my bank account, the 2 business days to verify (again) that my loan is in order, and another 7 business days for the money to get to me. I'd have complained but the woman was just a call center worker and she was very polite and helpful.
Anyway, I should stop starving soon. I appreciate all those who offered to help, and I despise those who should have but didn't.
