"Can I help you my lady? Something to eat or drink?" He asked. Statira paused, "No, I'm fine for now, but tell me, what is your name?" The young man looked down, "Bagoas, princess."
This is considered powerplaying, when you RP someome else's character without their permission. XD; I think that if you would like to talk to Bagoas in the scene, you should give 'im a heads up first and then write to the part where he would enter, and then say something.
As a side note, you have permission if you want to edit it back ^^;; It'd be a nice place for me to start. Anyway, if not, I'll try and squirm in the best I can.
Statira was happy for some company. She was lonely most of the time. Her family all had concerns of their own, leaving little time to spend with her, and she was denied to speak to too many others, especially men.
His playing was calming, and she felt at ease with him there. She loved to hear of other places outside her walls. Though educated as was deemed fit for her, at imes Statira felt ignorant to the ways of the world. Though a slave, at least Bagoas had been other places than Babylon.
"Sometimes, yes," he admitted, his fingertips flowing easily over as he spoke; his playing seemed almost absent, wistful.
"Susa is a grand city, my lady. I have heard that my lord, your father, is fond of it as well. In the summer it is warm, but the lilies bloom in the fountains and along the banks of the river. It is a beautiful city."
Bagoas fell quiet for a moment, wishing that he could find the words to describe it better. He wished he had learned from poets how to speak eloquently. Alas, he knew only how to speak softly and sweetly.
"I'm afraid that even now there are things that I am starting to forget. Perhaps the next time the King travels, he will take more of his Household and you will see it," he suggested.
"That would be nice." She replied as she rose from her seat. "So many times I'm left her when father goes on campaign. I wish I could see more of tehempire, to see all these places that he he rules."
Statira started to walk away, but she looked back at Bagoas. "Thank you. Whether it is proper or not, I enjoy talking to you."
His dark eyes watched her rise, though he did not stop playing until she started to walk away. Bagoas bowed his head at her thanks, his expression gracious. "I speak at your pleasure, Mistress."
(we have changed some format things as far as changeing timelines. I already threatened Alexander with waht might happen to Bagoas' loyalty when Statira arrives)(please look at the summary and post if you wish)

"Is there anything my lady desires? Entertainment or perhaps shade and a fan?"
He was not used to seeing a princess playing a harp herself, but then he also had not been in the service of the family long.

"How long have you been here? Do you play?" she asked touching the instrument.

"I have only been serving in the Household for a week, my lady, and yes, I play."
