Because fanfiction would suck if it were a one-way street
Just after midnight here, and I declare today....
Reader Appreciation Day!!!
As writers we get told a lot about how okay awesome we are because there are wonderful people out there who read our stories and take the time to leave a comment or a review. NGL, if no one read/reviewed my stories, I probably wouldn't bother writing fanfic at all. I think up the stories for myself, but I actually write them down because I want to share them with others. And yet THEY (the readers) are the ones telling US (the writers) how awesome WE are??? Aint that screwy? So, to fix this, I challenge every writer to leave a comment expressing how much he/she appreciates their dedicated readers. :)
Is there someone who reviews EVERY SINGLE UPDATE (go on and call them out!)? What is the best review you've ever received (copy and paste, plz?)? What do reviews mean to you? Do you respond to all of the reviews you receive? Why/why not? HOW DO READERS MAKE YOU FEEL???
