Your thoughts, please
I just sent off a pretty argumentative response to a rude PM I received, and I'm looking for some validation on a few fanfic topics:
1. If there is a character death in a fanfic do you think that the author is obligated to include a warning at the beginning? As a reader would you even want to be told ahead of time?
2. If a main character dies in a fic, does that mean that story is not a "romance" and should be put in the "tragedy" genre?
3. Will you stop reading a fanfic if a main character dies?
4. Should an author tell you ahead of time what the final pairing in a story is? Does a story have to be a J/B fic or a E/B fic? Can it just be a story about Bella that includes the love she experiences?
I'm super curious to see what you guys think about these things b/c they're all hot-button issues for me personally.
