The Name Game

I have a WIP that is currently entitled Spent My Nights Counting Stars. I came up with that title for the story about 10 months ago. I even made a banner for way back then (don't judge me; it's part of my creative process). And at that time I was all like..."This title is amazing. A pure stroke of genius. I'm in luuuuurve." I even have plans on working the title into the dialogue of the story.

BUT...I spend a lot of time boppin' around on fandom sites where lots of fic recs and discussions go on, and I've noticed over the past month or two that a number of stories suddenly being mentioned have some form of the word "star" in their title (i.e. "Starry Eyed Inside," "We Come to Life Beneath the Stars," "Written in the Stars"). And now I feel like I need to change the name of my story before I start posting it! D:

Is it strange that I feel this way? If these were well-known stories, I probably wouldn't have cared as much. I didn't  even realize titles were so important to me until I vowed that I would never read a "____ing Bella" or "____ing Edward" story because those titles have become so over-used:

Finding Bella
Discovering Bella
Protecting Bella
Saving Bella
Saving Edward
Finding Edward
Guarding Edward
(and it goes on and on)

Does anyone else type the title of their prospective story into the FFnet search engine before deciding on it? How important are titles to you when it comes to reading stories or writing your own? How do you come up with titles?
