So, last night, for the first time in my life I went to a classical music concert (thanks to Jess). It was the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra playing 3 selections, a Mozart, a Mendhelson and last and most importantly, Beethoven's 7th Symphony.
Now I don't know much about classical composers, I am currently trying to learn, but I urge anyone out there who hasn't heard Beethoven's 7th to go out and find and hear it... I had heard before in passing, but nothing had really prepared me for the live rendition, It made me wish i could've been alive in the day and hearing 90 piece symphonies belting it out in archaic European auditoriums! Truly beautiful, profound & Stirring stuff... and composed by a deaf genius 190 years ago!
So, anyway, here is a pretty good rundown on the piece from all music guide...
