Baked a cake with home made frosting and everything. The cake was from a box, but still.
Everything turned out well. I am so thankful I have friends I can really be pleased with having, sans compromises and apologies.
I then went to the Eastside and heard some great fiddle playing.
I got a really great compliment from Lisa.

Still, I feel the need to learn something from my own experience for once.
