Happy New Year! How's 2012 treating you all so far?

I will post my resolutions (both past and new) in a few days, because my mum's visiting, and I won't have time for a detailed post until later. In the meantime, have a poll!

Poll This is very important. Sort of.

And from thedevilsheart:

*hugs*

YOU MEAN IT DIDN'T HAPPEN?!?! lol. Most of my headcanon for these two goes like this: First, I have the mandatory Polly Walker freakout (POLLY WALKER!!! A@$SC#%#T#:!!!!!). And then: AND THEN THEY MADE OUT. But I'll try to make it more coherent than that, haha.

Both Helen and Ranna highly respect each other, even though they don't always show it. Helen wants to stay in Hollow Earth - partly because of her father, partly because she wants to explore a whole new world, and partly (she would never admit this out loud) because she wants to spend more time with Ranna. She believes they can learn a lot from each other. When Helen returns to the Sanctuary, she and Ranna keep in touch. Not often, because their communication channels are being watched, but enough so that they get updates on how their worlds are doing. When Helen stops getting those messages, she has a feeling that something is wrong - and this is confirmed about a week or two later, when the trouble with the uprising (was that it? I have a really bad memory) happens.

Though believed to be dead, Ranna actually is not, and is just waiting until she can find the right time to make her way out of Hollow Earth. (She's tried talking to her people, and all times just barely escaped with her life - if they won't listen to her anymore, she'll enlist Helen's help, and hopefully they can set all of this right again).

AND THEN THEY MADE OUT.
And that is EXACTLY what happened. I am convinced.
But I really love your way of explaining this pairing. Makes so much sense. ♥

Amanda Tapping always says that nobody is ever really dead in sci-fi, so wouldn't it be awesome if Polly Walker came back in season 5? (I mean if there is a season 5. *curls up in fetal position and starts to rock back and forth*)

I'm expecting this on a deleted scene. Of last season. ...Right. LOL.

And thank you!

It's very true, though. And they never specifically said that Ranna was dead; it was just sort of implied. Can you post your thoughts on the season 4 finale soon so I can go there and comment the heck out of it? :D
