1) I had no internet for two whole days. (We changed providers). But now it's up and running and supposedly three times as fast, so YES.
2) Apparently LJ was being stupid yesterday. I'm glad (except not really) I didn't have the internet to experience this.
3) I finally upgraded OS X Leopard to OS X Snow Leopard. I'll be getting OS X Lion soon. So. Excited.
4) Warehouse 13 was AMAZING.
I love this first scene. I love any scene involving the entire team with their snippy family banter.
Claudia: Did you trim your eyebrows?
Artie: Hmm? No.
Claudia: What’s that smell?
They all take a whiff.
Artie: What? What smell? I don’t smell anythi-
Claudia: Exactly. You primped. Oh! You’re going to see Dr. Vanessa!
Steve: Who’s Dr. Vanessa?
Artie: No one.
Steve: Oh, wow, I have never had a lie hurt before!
Myka: She’s the Warehouse physician…
Pete: And Artie’s girly-girlfriend…
Artie: Uh, Dr. Calder. Feels that there may be an artifact causing trouble. In a hospital. In Utah. And she has asked me, a colleague, to consult, and that is it. Now, if you will excuse me!
I've said it before and will probably continue saying it for the rest of the season: I really enjoy Myka and Pete's dynamic. This scene was hilarious - from both of their reactions in the beginning, to the end where they find Artie's toothbrush.
And LOL, this scene. MYKA IS TOTALLY THE BIG SPOON AND YOU KNOW SHE'S THE BIG SPOON TO H.G.'S LITTLE SPOON AS WELL.
I didn't cap my favourite scene (actually, this entire episode was full of favourites), but I really liked the scene where Myka is basically heartbroken that she slept with Pete because she's in love with H.G. because he's her very best friend, and she's his as well, and I just thought it was so lovely that Pete calmed her down and told her that everything would be all right and nothing would change just because they might have slept together. It just brought out the whole BFF-ly dynamic and I just love it a lot, okay?
(On the other hand, I do feel bad for Pete/Myka shippers being shut down, because from numerous experiences, it always sucks to have your ship shut down like that).
And ohmygod, this next scene!
Myka: He had just mentioned he was gay, and you were being… you.
I thought they handled the whole Steve coming out to Myka & Pete very well. (I didn't even think they would tackle it; I just assumed they would handle it offscreen and Myka & Pete would know in later episodes). I like that neither of them thought it was a very big deal; Myka was very nonchalant when she recounted it (PROBABLY BECAUSE SHE USED TO GO OFF ~ALL THE TIME~ TO BE GAY WITH H.G.), and (like Myka said) Pete was very Pete about the whole thing. It was very realistic in the sense that it kept true to each of the characters.
Here, have a bunch of caps of Myka. I prefer her dark hair, but whatever; Joanne Kelly's face is pretty much enough reason for me to watch this show.
5) This was the first episode of Rizzoli & Isles I enjoyed this season. So, so funny!

6) I really want to write lots of Myka/H.G. being gay and going on ~adventurrrzzzzz together, but my muse really isn't working. (I find this hilarious because most of the time I just sit around going, "Gee, I wonder if (insert author here) has written something awesome" but of course fanfiction takes time to churn out so they haven't written anything, and then when it's my turn to write I'm like, OH HAI TUMBLR).
7) I am really excited about this fic I have in the works about Myka & H.G. being pirates (well, only one of them is, BUT WHATEVER, PIRATES), but again, my muse has gone on vacation. (What do you mean, someone else gave me the idea?!) IF YOU WANT TO INSPIRE ME TO CONTINUE THIS FIC (or the other one I have on the backburner), FEEL FREE TO COMMENT BELOW, OR EVEN BETTER YET, GIVE ME YOUR IM SO WE CAN BOUNCE IDEAS OFF OF EACH OTHER.
