I posted this to Facebook, but decided to put it here as well.
Peaceful protest = democratic right; violence = unacceptable; standing among those doing violence many hours after it started then crying that you got swept up in the law enforcement response despite the fact that you're a peaceful protester = STUPID! And yes, once violence starts the police do have the moral right to use what force is necessary to keep themselves safe. They have families to go home to as well!
