It's All Goin' Down In the (818) Now!

Yeah, the news broke days ago on Megan and Sarah's respective LJs, but I got the gig in Burbank, which is gonna make my life much, much easier. It's only a slight bump in money, which really dragged me down for some reason but I believe I still have a lot to learn about stewardship so maybe this will finally drill it into my abnormally thick skull. But, it's still a small bump in money, and, as I've mentioned several times already over the past two weeks, the other benefits seem inumerable.

Saw the Getty Center for the first time today, and it was really awesome. The main attraction is a big, beautiful garden that features a gorgeous view of most of Southern Cali, stretching from downtown to Santa Monica, and this really cool manmade stream that seems to trickle for a mile before winding up in a big collection pool that feautres rows of beautiful, lush plants. It was the first time since I got back from Thanksgiving that I really felt relaxed, and it seemed to help Megan decompress from the last couple weeks of her semester as well.

The decompression actually started Teusday night, when Jack and welcomed the sunrise by playing VS. and having a lot of conversations that went something like:

Me or Jack: "Remember that [INSERT MOVIE OR SONG TITLE]?"

Me or Jack: "Yeahhhh, where [INSERT NAME OF ACTOR OR SINGER] goes..."

In Unison: "[INSERT BIT OF DIALOGUE OR LYRIC]"

And, in case there was any doubt, Connor Kent OWNS IT on turn 6.

Tactile Telekenesis, ladies. That's what Superboy's all about.
