Three shifts and a final in four days. Imagine what a great big bucket of sunshine I am.
My Christmas season will officially begin at the end of this nonsense, however, so there is a light at the end of this tunnel. And not a moment too soon b/c I really need a break. My distaste for math has turned into full-blown hatred. I miss Megan. We have so much fun when we're together, but the time apart has been hard since we got back from the holiday b/c she's had so much on her plate the past couple weeks. I miss my friends and family, who I've barely seen recently w/everything we've all had going on.
Fortunately, I'll get a few days w/Megan before she leaves to spend Christmas in Redding, time to catch up w/everyone I've barely seen the past couple weeks and some quality time w/the Playstation 2. And then there's the little matter of my moving sometime around the holuiday itself. Jerky, Jess and I moving to w/in a block of each other in the span of a month...Somehow, "There goes the neighborhood" just doesn't quite do the situation justice, does it?
My toughest Christmas shopping is even done. I scored huge on Megan's present, and found exactly what I wanted for Jack and Sarah w/the greatest of ease. The rest of you will get whatever I decide to give you and be freakin' grateful for the opportunity. How's that for holiday spirit?
Megan wasn't the only one who got a new watch Friday night. (See her journal entry for details on the huge freakin' timepiece that's currently dominating her left forearm.) Needing something for work and wanting to get something cheap that I wouldn't care about thrashing in the line of duty, I went the full nine and got a Batman watch. Needless to say, I couldn't possibly do the awesomeness justice, so you'll all just have to see it for yourself.
I also think I'm getting over The Agent of Chaos as my SN. Hawk just ain't coming back, and a couple JLU cameos just doesn't cut it. Stay tuned for further announcements.
