more wicked!
wicked! was fun :3 tbh i thought the first act was a little boring and second act was aweesoommmmeee. maybe it was because the first act was longer than the second and it was full of introductions.
and rob mills... oh millsy <3 man everytime i see more of millsy i like him more and more XD hehehe fiyero <3 i'm such a fan of elphaba/fiyero now :3333
i gots me a program booklet and a mug :D ... hmm maybe if i were sitting closer, i'd have enjoyed it more since my eye sight ain't too great but yeah i thought things really picked up right before the end of act 1 when the girls were in oz :D
and i had to lol at the shit boq went through XD maybe it's because i like to lol at anthony callea. but it was nice hearing him singing live again. his voice is a lot nicer than what it used to be like during school.
it was also kinda sad that rob guest passed away. i would have loved to see his wizard. i really liked madame morrible and the goat :3 i think my standouts for the night were amanda (elphaba), millsy (fiyero) and lucy (glinda). i ttly wanted more and more of amanda's voice and just millsy :3
i now think that i didn't enjoy the first act so much because i was still adjusting to the music and couldn't really make out what was being sung. that was alright by the end. also maybe because the lady sitting in front of me was tall and had frizzy hair. i had to shuffle to see the stage properly... but her head still got in the way D: i think i also expected more from wicked! because of all the rave reviews i've heard. it delivered in 2nd act but not 1st.
anyway idk if i'd go and watch it again. probably not. because it costs a lot of dosh and i generally don't re-watch things that cost money hehe.
hmm after wards we had dinner at your thai. not a great place but cheap. and i'm still full from it. then when i got to my car which i parked down collins street... i found that it had been broken into again. but i lol'd because there was nothing to take from there XD i learnt my lesson from last time. XDDD magna's must be really easy to break into or something. maybe i should have left my car at work XD wow broken into twice in less than 6 months... must be some sort of record for me.
