Oh New Moon. I have seen it (not in a cinema though...) and gah. I tried to read the first book once, and got to the end of the first chapter and gave up. So I knew the first one wouldn't be my cup of tea, but it was so bad it was funny. This one didn't even have that going for it. The message of the film/book is something Meyer should be shot for (yes I feel that strongly about that ridiculous woman) and I've heard it just gets worse. I'm not surprised the director struggled (I am amused that they're yet to announce the fourth one as a movie, I've heard people think it may be unfilmable). For me, the saving grace was Taylor Lautner (which then made me feel all pedobear about because he's so young) because Robert Pattinson is ridiculous and I get the feeling Kristen Stewart could be good if it wasn't such a ridiculous plot.
I am so enamoured with Adam Lambert. Which is due to the internets, because obviously most people over here haven't a clue who he is (I am so annoyed that fucking Boyle woman released her album the same day, cos it would've been cool to see him #1). I'm like you in that I can't pick a favourite. But I am liking Soaked at the moment (his voice on it makes me tingle lmao)
The thing is, I have both ironic and unironic love for Twilight. COMPLICATED FEELINGS, I HAZ THEM. That said, the movie was abysmal, but I did like all the shirtlessness. Fuck, Taylor Lautner is hot, and so is Kristen Stewart.
