FIRST OF ALL. Oh my fucking God, your Luke voice. YOUR LUKE VOICE IS FLAWLESS. I COULD LITERALLY HEAR HIM IN MY HEAD AND I COULD HEAR THEIR CONVERSATION. JUST. fffff He's amazing okay.
PS: GATES WOULD ADORE HIM. This is true.
And just. You melded the universes perfectly. Everything was like this story unraveling like it's just one story. AND IT IS but I mean, you're taking a whole fandom with so much canon history and you make it work it's just.
FWAH. AND LUCKY'S MOM'S INSANITY. JUST. WAY BETTER THAN WHAT THE SHOW EVER FUCKING GAVE HER.
I love how Luke understands this world because he just... SO WOULD. I can see him in it SO EASILY. And I can see Lucky in it easily too because whether he likes it or not he's just... he's his father's son as much as he's his mother's, but in all the ways that count.
AND THAT LAST SCENE MADE ME TEARY. BECAUSE IT'S JUST... so what she'd do. ;___;
I love how she only says one word but you still... captured her and Gates and the world perfectly and their dynamic, too, all of which I love. And you may have said it's too much dialogue but that's actually one of my favorite parts.
It has a LOT of dialogue and it explains a lot but it doesn't feel cluttered in the least. The pace is perfect and it all ties itself neatly and there's no resolution but AUGH.

rjke;la I AM SO HAPPY YOU THINK MY LUKE VOICE IS FLAWLESS as I go to you as the GH expert on these characters so I know if you say he is flawless then he must be. ;_; I have been watching whole episodes this week, and Luke has been on a lot with his wedding to Tracy so it's... it helped, but I would never want to mess up an epic character like Luke Spencer.
FFF DAW. GATES. ;_; I thought that they would really get along well. :x I am glad that I was right.
rjkela That part makes me very happy as I am worried about it, because GH is a whole world on its own and BTR is an epic world too, and it's like... I want it to be seamless. I have ideas about everyone else in the show too, who is in the know and who isn't etc. etc.
I am glad the part about his mom worked too. Cause yeah, I was like am I not doing justice to the show by using this supernatural explanation? IDEK ;_; But yeah, so glad that it worked.
FFF YES. I knew Luke had been a part of that supernatural world already for a long time and that he would understand it so well. He is a supernatural as well as having that thing inside of him, which is gone now (but will totally be making a reapparance thus the gratuitous mention about how it's still around/locked up). I just don't know what his ability is yet. :x
rekj;a I am sorry to have made you teary, but I was getting teary too from his bleedover. Chest aching, and I knew he just wanted to see her... because she... in this world, she is the reason that he really did get into the Crowbar life. He had already met Sonny but was like wah /runs away from this, but she helped him to come alive again. This takes place much closer to the whole affair than even him in Rift did so yes.

I am so glad that I captured Lena and Gates well. They are your amazing, wonderful characters that I love so much, and I didn't want to write them too much for fear that I'd fuck them up, but I knew that I wanted them in here. I knew Lena had to be in here to end this fic on a finished note even if the resolution wasn't there. ;_;

FFFFFFFFF I am no expert as I haven't watched in years save for some clips out of curiosity when you're doing commentary but still, he's iconic and you just... this was Luke, and I loved seeing his relationship with his cowboy bc it's just. What he did was really fucked up but it's a testament to the acting and the character himself that you can still love him.

It totally worked and as horrible as it is, what they did with his mom, I do love how her insanity comes into play and fits so well with... so many of these characters who are going down that road no matter what they do/say/try.
Yesss, if he wasn't a supernatural and we hadn't already seen his red blood, I'd ttly catalog him as Glaysa. #justsaying
;__; NO, IT WAS A GOOD TEARY. It was a short scene and I love that it didn't have dialogue when everything else had so much dialogue. And lmfao I know it's because you're scared to mess them up but I know you never would. It was just a beautiful way to end it, okay. ;_;
And he's helped her, too. Honestly if he hadn't come along she'd have just. IDEK. She'd be having another Christmas with Rick and not knowing why. 8(
