closed for a bit.
i closed up shop today for a little bit so i can concentrate on last minute chaos for bumbershoot. i have some new kanzashi and bags for the festival. i think i might even let go of this kanzashi: 
previously i've been asked to sell it but i declined. i'm having a change of heart. i'm so excited to have my "set" design come to life. its been months in the making. my husband and i even made our own shoji style screens for it! my mom is coming to help me at my booth. when she was younger she used to weave hats and bags in her home country and sell them as a vendor so this will be a totally different experience for her. its weird- its been a long time since i've worked for a corporation- i can't imagine what it would be like to return to one. after my father retired from the US Navy he had a couple of his own businesses and that's what i grew up with. working for the small guy-so this stuff comes easy to me and i am training my children as my dad did me with certain duties. it builds character.
my derby league is going great! we were recently featured in the everett herald!
what else...? did i already mention that i've been glued to my lovely sam soon on azn? i love that drama!!! its one of my top five kdramas!!! okay back to work!!! i hope to blog again before the big event. ^_^
