hello again! so like i was saying yesterday here in my lovely city of seattle we had our monthly
rummage. here's a few pics:
well first i was running late because of this:
this is actually a picture on my way home. i caught the freaking draw bridge on my way there and on the way home... meh....
but when i got there i had the pleasure of being next to
my friend jen's table-
close ups:
she makes the rockin'est diaper bags around! check her site out!
www.constructionforall.com and right next to her was my table:
and one of my favourite
kanzashi i've made. it didn't sell though ;( i guess hot pink and black is out with the hipsters in belltown... ah well i'm be taking proper photos of them today and i'll list some new stuff on my site.
and the best table neighbor ever:
she is so good at what she does its SICKENING!!! she's hella funny too. we've been table neighbors for 3 months at rummage.
i know, i know... there are a bazillion people who make jewelry. BUT not only is anna's stuff pretty & VERY well made she is just outright friendly and offers to do custom work even out of existing jewelry you have. please go check out her site to see where she will be at next:
www.annaperronedesigns.com at rummage the organizers were holding a contest for us vendors. we had to collect signatures from people who were browsing. (anna convinced like a million people to sign her sheet) and the top 5 vendors who had the most signatures would win a
cordless glue gun. anna & i both won. i only had like 7 people sign my sheet. i think i just got lucky by sitting next to anna. i have to say it looks pretty swanky. i just charged it i'll test it out later today.
only one more rummage for the summer. next month on june 4th! i'll be there. rummage is taking a break since i think the organizers will be participating in
bumbershoot. (i'll be there too!) then rummage starts up again in october. ^_^
in other news. i've started running again. those of you who have known me for years know i was the cross country runner in my younger years. i could run those boring runs like a mofo-well living on an island as a kid you pretty much ran in circles since there was no where to go. saturday i took a break from preparing for rummage and ran a mile. my older two kids ran with me. they of course left me in their dust but still it was fun. i'm making it my goal to out run my son calvin. he's a fast little man. but my legs hurt more from that than derby so it might be a while. speaking of derby...my derby name went in for registration!!! i'll tell you all what it is after i know it's been registered.
kick monday's ass!
