busy & sneezy!
first my mom made it to london yay!
i wish i could be there. :( it would just be a big chat/eat fest with my mom & my sister. But they plan on coming to the states next year and we don't have any plans on returning to Europe anytime soon-but it would've been fun to meet up with my baby brother in law who backpacking all over Europe. He apparently having a blast in Bulgaria because its cheap & pretty there. But he's on the way to Istanbul then Italy. I admire him for wanting to continuously check places out there. When Luca & I went to Europe last we made our way down to Barcelona and I loved it there so much I made a big stink about going anywhere else so we stayed until it was time to return to the states.
I've been sneezing my ass off the past couple days because of my pretty yard:
& the allergy medicine I take makes me all hyper. It's pure lunacy! I did get all my flower seeds all in & cleaned up the creek (removed trash) & other boring yard work stuff. I had to take a break from kanzashi making -a couple big custom orders are just about finished but I had to give my eyes a break. I also whipped up 5 mama's brood shirts that hit the post office this morning.
What else...this weekend we finally watched Mirrormask. It was sooooooooooooo good. It's dark, a little creepy & beautiful. I highly recommend it-my kids loved it but they are big Tim Burton fans so the darker stuff doesn't phase them-but some kids might be a little scared from stuff in Mirrormask.
I drew up some new ideas for some new kanzashi but I can't get started on them until I finish up all my custom orders so I better get on it. ; )
