the past two weddings i have been to have had the most gorgeous cakes.
very modern & spiffy not the traditional american tiered cake like i had ages ago. (i should dig up a picture of it. it was totally ridiculous-super pale yellow & navy blue with GI Joe & Hello Kitty cake toppers)
they both had fondant on them. which looked so pretty but tasted like rubber. and the cake underneath was dry and gross too. its so sad. why is fondant like that? i have never had anything good with fondant on it.
i just had to get that off of my chest. it's my huge secret that i secretly would love to be a wedding planner so i flip out over crap like that.
whew... now i feel better.
