well not really- this broken collar bone has definitely put a cramp in my crafty habits. but i represented at
i heart rummage this past sunday.
i should've bedazzled up my sling though. maybe i will look into making rollergirl recovery accessories. :) i only had one piece of flair on- shame on me.
my teenager was a big help as always this weekend.
(isn't that owl quilt cool?- its even better in person. the gal who makes them always has the best quilts)
i met
kristen rask this weekend after much back & forth emails :) she is such nice gal and she made a bunch of cute little plushies. i meant to be a crafty super star stalker and bring in my copy of
plush you for her to sign but i flaked it off. i'll just have to hunt her down again in the future.
she was space sharing with another super nice gal (i feel bad that i cannot remember her name at the moment) but she makes laptop sleeves! i've been looking for one (the one and only bad thing about a
MacBook -the black one I have is that you can see every single finger print on it- which is hard for the clean freak in me). i got a cool leather like one- i'll post a picture of it when i get it- i asked her to add some handles for it. her website is
Mintika I also pick up some great deals from Sandy from
Sin In Linen It was sooooo freaking cool she brought in a ton of irregular/slightly off bedding/linens for outrageously cheap prices. I picked up
this for an insane price!
I just love all her stuff anyways. I actually have a funny story about her- she's a retired skater from the Seattle league Rat City Rollergirls which is my league's big sister league so to speak and I had met Sandy aka Ann Munition #357 at an I heart rummage event so I knew she was a crafty gal so I cheered for her just for that. Because crafty love runs deeper than derby love. Lol!!!!
Here's a couple more pics from the show:
These gals Kathy & Carly will be sharing a booth with me & their fine wares at
Bumbershoot
Spooky Mama Creations - I really love this Frida Kahlo altar
Don't Quilt Your Day JobShe makes the most AMAZING quilts. They are priced appropriately too.
There's a few more pics on my Flickr if you are interested. And I just want to give a shout out to sweetie pie
Moxie who had me giggling for refusing a homie hook up price from me. It was nice to see ya Moxie.
The next rummage is in September!
