i saw gene wilder speak tonite. there was my childhood, sitting 12 feet in front of me. it was extremely surreal and wonderful. i was even brought to tears a few times. he still has perfect comic timing and the bluest eyes i've ever seen (besides mary's). i shook his hand after and said thank you for everything.
