The soccer mission - SMH and STEF
I'm really glad to have Sandra back from her work, as she became a partner in crime for the daily soccer pack. 2 days ago we went out to see the Brazil game but we were simply too late. The fan mile got closed, the Addidas sport park was sold out and I started to get a bit pissed after an unplanned almost 45 min walk - so yes, we missed the first half but luckily made it to the 2nd at Peugeot do Brazil :-)
For the France game we went to the now usually packed fan mile and saw them suffering a draw.
And that's how the street looks at 0.30 a.m. The lights are empty plastic cups.
Yesterday we went to Ikea, for some shopping and guess what we found there, between beds and chairs, in the exhibition hall????
And that's how we felt about it:
After an exhausting day at Ikea you should take a break and rest for a while. Why not in their restaurant? Having a slice of the soccer cake and the last 15 mins of the game on another screen :-)
Now we are on the run to support the German team and later on the Swedes. Huh, I'm sooo happy when the first round is done. My legs, oh gosh, my legs...
