Sooooo my dears, this entry goes out to all you soccer-mopes. I don't get why you all hate it so much, especially if you're neither a German nor living in one of the World Cup cities and therefore be forced to avoid hitting fans minute-by-minute. It is so amazing to see all these people from different countries, with different cultures celebrating together. What the hack is wrong with that? What is wrong with YOU people???
And to proove that it is fun to watch the maniacs, even though you're not willing to be part of the hysteria, I post these pix. Taken on the opening game, 10.06.2006, Germany - Costa Rica @ Treptower Part - Berlin while being surrounded by 25.000 others :-)
AND YES, you can be sure that there are more to come. 'Cause I am pround that Germany is the host of the World Cup 2006 and that the world is "AT HOME VISITING FRIENDS!". While writing that I am almost on my way to the "Fan-Mile" at the Brandenburg Gate to watch Italy - Ghana.
Of course I was there with my "handmade-soccer-fan": Dennis :-) It's all a question of education and patience. AND, if you're honest, you enjoy that shit too. Hehe.
The screen...
The ones in our back...
Pimp my style :-)
Bringing your own drinks and food wasn't allowed, but noone mentioned shishas, right?
