Update
Hey everyone (and it's probably just one person reading this),
Just a quick update on everything in the life of...well....me.
Things are going well enough. Warmer than i'd like, but good. Well, today is much better than yesterday, where i was overheating. Life these days is having its ups and downs, but overall things are going well.
Musical is picking up more speed. Not that it wasn't before but even more so now. Had the 2nd official meeting two nights ago, and it went quite well. Things are settling into place, which is good. It'll be at the school, rather than at a theatre such as Cap or Centennial. The thing that we're looking at right now is financial stuff. There was apparently some money left over from last musical to go towards the next one.
Auditions look to be early-mid November, with rehearsals starting after the winter break, but we may rehearse the finale beforehand so that gets out of the way first this time around.
Where in the school that we have it is either going to be the gym or the cafeteria. I know the caf seems at bit odd, but it may work out better in some ways, such as acoustically. If we use the gym we may only use half. That'll cut down on costs for lighting and such.
The sets from last time are available so we may use at least a few parts of them.
Anyways, in other news i'm learning guitar and bass. Guitar i've taken a few lessons just to get me going, now i'm working on it meself, such is the case for the bass. 'Tis going well.
Work is going well enough, both jobs, even. Boston Pizza is good, though i don't have as many shifts as i'd like, but they have to make sure everyone gets equal work, i suppose.
Had some work as an extra on Friday and Monday on a tv show called 'Kyle XY'. Very interesting work. Tedious, but good. The episode will probably air sometime late Sept-mid October. Met some cool people. Once the cheque comes in for that, which'll be nice, i plan to go shopping, as it'll come in about just about 2 weeks, so i can get stuff to prep for the trip to the Okanagan. Goodie!
Anyways, that's enough for now, i suppose.
