one month
a lot can happen in one month.
I've been on the job for one month. as of a few days ago, at least. the soulder? doing better. aches when the weather is cold and damp, which has been happening a lot lately.
pulled a half loaf of white bread out of the freezer that a houseguest left behind, and made baked french toast with apples, raisins and a sprinkling of craisins. it's in the oven now. the directions said to cover and refridgerate overnight, but I threw it in the oven right off. not sure if this is going to effect the flavor, texture, whatever... i was hungry now. okay, about 45 minutes ago. thing takes an hour to bake.
i have to go shopping tomorrow for costume pieces - trendy things. I have no idea where I'm going to find such things, or if what I find is going to work, if they'll like it... ugh. A little girl-looking shirt, a trendy blouse, a trendy... flashy blazer/jacket. Trying not to spend a ton of money on it. I don't have a ton of money, and neither does the company. I just have no idea what their idea of flattering... trendy... I'd almost rather the director go pick it out herself. I'm not good at picking out trendy. Never have been. Gonna give it a try thought... I think there's a Gabriel brother's up the road... I'll start there. I think they take returns. where are my fashionista friends when I need shopping buddies? Not here. Bugger. wish me luck!
