ringing in the new year, the birds began to sing

Dec 29, 2007 13:13

Once again, someone else did this first. You know the drill.

This is the first line of one entry from each month of the year:

January: i personally need to get off my ass and start calling grad schools and find out if i'm even worthy of treading through their hallowed halls. that's going to wait until tomorrow, maybe even tuesday.

February: well, today is a reading day, and I'm going to spend it outside, playing in the snow with my friends because, for those unfortunate you with out the splendidly good luck of being here, WE HAVE TRUCKLOAD OF SNOW!!!! buckets of snow!! cascades of snow!! snow in every freeking corner of our microclimate!! *this was the whole entry.

March: Ooohh... busy busy busy... senior recital is coming this weekend... o_0 sigh... *again, the whole entry

April: I've gotten lazy. Or perhaps its more I'm never near a computer anymore

May: Aparently all my LJ entries for the past two months began with the word "So". Not happeniong today.

June: Leaving tomorrow for England and there's still a truck load of stuff to do.

July: well, my travel journal has been lost in the shuffle, which is no surprise

August: so apparently 100 things (see three entries ago) was a hit... it was a great break from the normal "life i blah blah blah, my fam is yadda yadda yadda, the job i currently work at la de da, dunno what i'm doin with myself, et cetera"

September:Amanda was, or rather still is, just not here, in the vicinity Friday and Saturday, so we made the most of it pranced off to do what we do best - go shopping and watch a chick flick.

October: just bought something on eBay, and I went to pay for it, but the seller has some third party check ou and long story short, I spent 20 minutes registering for one more thing i don't need so I could pay fo my stuff which took two second.

November: Last night University Players put on a private, exclusive viewing of Rocky Horror Picture Show.

December: I just got cast as the prositute in a play called the Round

Aparently I adore run-on sentences. w00t. It looks like I was in England for a whole month, but no… just two weeks. I love that last january I was looking at grad schools, and this year I'm actually aplying for them. Not that I feel the year 2007 was a complete waste- there's always England- but in a lot of ways, yeah. I feel like I sort of wasted a year of my life. Though not entirely my own fault. Thank you Records and Registration and the folks in charge of cirruculum.

And the grad schools are:
Univeristy of Arizona (Tuscon)
University of Montana (Missoula)
Bowling Green State University (Ohio)
California State University (San Diego)
Someplace in Wisconsin.

These are the ones I want to apply to. Not the ones who have actually agreed to take me.
