Back home in Fredonia. My mom and sister are throwing us a baby shower. We drove out here last night and we'll be headed back after the festivities are done today. Had jessamine6 come up to Port Washington last night for dinner at Smith Brothers, and then we talked for a while afterwards, mostly about baby stuff.
Had some interesting dreams last night/this morning, all Psi related. I think that national convention was here, in Fredonia, but here got a bit mixed up with Roanoke, where it actually will be next year. I don't remember a whole lot except having a conversation with flaming_rose and unipride (and thankfully they had different hairstyles in the dream--I've always been awful at telling twins apart in real life) and another part where I couldn't get to the finance committee meeting because of my family. And apparently my friend Jenny Schommer, who I grew up with, was in the fraternity. I guess none of this suprises me too much; Andrea and I had a lengthy (and largely unresolved) discussion regarding the viability of going to convention next year, especially given her recent unemployment and the baby, on the way over here yesterday, and I suppose that that hung around in my subconsciousness.
One of my favorite bands, Rasputina, is touring in the fall, and they have dates in NC, NY, MI and DC. I highly recommend going if you have the chance. Some details here.
