Surprise!
Oh, hello surprise shipment of shingles! I was just asking Bo about the roof today and unexpectedly, I heard a truck's breaks in our driveway. Lo and behold, a shipment to sign for. Then folks were walking on our roof and dropping big palettes of shingles. Ein freaked out enough that he slipped his harness while out back on his dog run and took himself for a walk. He hung out on the back porch with incriminating muddy paws and a great big smile. Freedom feels good, huh?
So, now we need to prod the roofer and ask when he plans on installing the roof. After that, we won't have that project hanging over our heads anymore-- well, it will be over our heads (hopefully) but it'll be DONE!
Mom said that she's going to try and clear out the entire weekend of Naka-kon to watch the tiny. I'm tempted to try to have Andi there for part of it, though I know it'll cut into my commission time and my otherwise be a disaster. But she's been to two cons already in the womb. Now it's time for some real exposure to otakudom! ...and hopefully, no exposure to confunk.

I finished the manga script and have confirmation on the dimensions, so this project is rolling along. Tonight, I'm running a casual, social event on the MUX with a Newlywed game-type format. I'm looking forward to some fun. Oh! but what to make for dinner? :/a
