Mr. Clean, you da man!
Hey, these Mr. Clean Magic Erasers remove crayon from eggshell-finish paint when a washcloth wouldn't. Cool!
The baby's in 50th percent tile all around at her 16 month check-up. She knows over ten words now and loves to play at the park and the school playground. Her favorite foods are noodles, cereal, grapes, and watermelon. She can't stand to be away from me more than an hour outside of family yet. Today, I'm going to look into getting her some daycare once or twice a week so she can socialize with other kids.
On the art front, I've had several commissions keeping me busy in my "down-time".
On the game front, I'm a few hours in to Ar Tonelico and Revenant Wings.
Mux-wise, there's quite a big going on with the faction leaders on Final Fantasy MUX all around the Sin attacks. Zidane and Garnet have been re-united (great fun, they're so cute!) I may be keeping Relm for a while longer since the skypirate notion fell through (though I'll hang on to Elza a while longer). Gilgamesh is a big dumb dog. I <3 him.
I stayed up way too late last night, but it was worth it. Tonight I'll be going to bed at a more reasonable time. I think I'll make spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. We have people giving us estimates on the roof that needs to be re-shingled before autumn. I also have a contractor giving the porch a look. It'll be replaced and possibly expanded soon. Bo's replaced the blinds in the bedroom with some truly awesome, light-blocking shades. It's like night in the bedroom all day long now. <3 <3 <3 The nursery is next and he's already replaced the blinds in his office. Finally, we'll tackle the living room and possibly look into putting blinds on the kitchen window as the setting sun has a way of BLINDING anyone doing dishes.
We're getting some headway on home improvements thanks to Bo's new job and bonuses. Hopefully, they'll be consistent. It feels good to actually progress. We've been stagnant so long!
Was it only two weeks ago that we were in Branson? It seems like a month ago. I think I could've stayed there a whole week. The mini-golf there with the erupting volcano was a hoot.
I guess that's all for now.
Oh wait. I'm down to size 14-16 in tops. Two shirt sizes down and one more to go before I'm where I was in high school!
