Art Contest: $500US prize.

A customer with whom I've had a long-term business relationship is hosting a contest based on his characters. Here's the blurb:
I'm giving it a shot. I have been debating whether or not to set up a contest featuring my writing as the source for some fan-art. Hopefully, I have enough stuff to keep people interested. And I am planning on adding to the list of stories I have in my gallery. And anything posted in my gallery is fair game.
The plot bunnies are stirring.
I am going to start a contest, asking artists who would like to participate to choose any scene from any of the stories in my gallery. The sky is the limit. I look forward to seeing what you can come up with
The contest begins as of the posting of this journal entry. The Deadline is 11:59pm 15 Dec 07. I will then hold a vote, and a winner will recieve a cash-money prize.
Please Note:
*Multiple entries are allowed (and encouraged), but only one prize per person.
*Art that has been commissioned by me previously is ineligible for this contest. (Come up with something new! :D )
*Mature Content is acceptable, but lets do our best to keep it tasteful please.
*I can only pay via PayPal/Xoom. If you win, please send me a Note with your paypal contact information.
*I will accept color and/or black and white pieces. There is no requirement that it be colored.
*There is no minimum resolution size for any of these pieces (But at least the size of a DA avatar would be appreciated ;) )
*If you post your submission, please link to this journal. Help spread the word. :)
I recommend looking in my favorites for reference purposes. Many of my characters can be found there.
I am going to offer a grand prize of $500 (US) to the winner, and 2 year DA subscriptions for the second and third place finishers.
If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask.
