What's in the box?

Pandora is an online, streaming audio service that is designed to not only play your own personal playlist, but introduce you to many other songs related by genre, description, or your general interests. The demo version is free as is the with-ads version. The ads don't get in the way at all, so it's not a bad route to take. If you truly hate ads, there's a subscription service for a very reasonable price $36/year.

Anyway, with richman1's recommendation, I poked around over there last night. I entered 'Nobuo Uematsu' and was surprised that they not only had it, but had some great albums! What came up next on my playlist was David Arkenstone, whom I already enjoy. So, my instrumental station is filled with great, modern songs. Soothing, rich melodies are helping me concentrate while doing art.

I greatly urge all of you on my flist to at least give it a try. The player is entirely browser-based, so you don't need to download anything. From the looks of things, they have a tremendous selection. I'm going dig further and see if they have comedy albums like Dane Cook, as well as look for more anime/game music.

If anyone else signs on and has playlists they want to share with me, my account name is nockerbrat.

If you like it, pass it on.
