One guy at the convention was particularly gracious this year. He'd commissioned me last year and not only came back for more this year, but he came back for more after more! That's like going for thirds and fourths on the dinner table. I was so incredibly flattered that he enjoyed my art so much. He blamed me for him having to make several trips to the atm ^^; But who was I to say 'no'?
Being the darling that he is, he not only scanned the pictures he commissioned this year, but sent me the ones from last year as well. I couldn't even remember what I'd done for him last year even after he showed me a small thumb of some of my own work! How sad is that? I'd probably forget my own children's faces if I had squids. What a dork am I.
Oh-- also before I share the pictures, I just want to mention that this guy had the most AWESOME reference sheets of anyone who's ever commissioned me at the con. Not only did he have a text description and few versions from various artists of the character, but he had color squares, gradient diagrams, and a very good idea of what he wanted by way of poses! I can't begin to relate how helpful that was. It really sucks making visual character concepts on the fly -- for me anyway. I'm also so worried that what I have just doesn't fit the original creator's vision.
So, anyway, here are the pictures I did for him in small, web-friendly doses.
Warning: Sexual situations, including nudity, sexual interaction, hetero, homosexual, fursexual, and science
His OC Dr. Moreau.
He mentioned during this commission 'Please make him look sexy-- if you can make a labcoat sexy'. I'm like D: "DUDE! That's no challenge! Labcoats are already sexy!" They're infused with science, afterall.
By the way, that bulge in his pants? That's uh... the arm of his conjoined twin. Freakshow.
(my anatomy sucks when I'm rushing out art)
This is an OC of his friend. The character's name is Avery.
Despite the mess of details in the character (some of which I omitted by mistake), I really enjoyed him!
The markers are vivid and the scan did it justice. I'm so happy!
Can you believe I got his first hentai commission? I'm so giddy!
Lucky thing I brought the posefile book. He referenced a pose he was trying to describe.
bingo!
Oh god, my anatomy T_T
Anyway, that's Avery again. The guy who's about to lose his towel is Tim. He's slowly turning into a skunk athro in his storyline.
This was a request for the friend who plays Avery. He wanted something boy/boy that was steamy but not too explicit.
Explicit? Let's go all out.
bunghole!
I am not a furry artist.
I did not do multiple furry commissions.
OH GOD ;_; My palms are hairy.
this is my favorite commission I did all con
And just as a bonus,
here are the two
pictures I did for him last year. I'm sayin'... labcoats = sexy.
I started getting commissions literally the moment I sat down at the convention. This was before the dealer's room opened, but BAM! One Gaia character in my lap. wtf, mate. But exhausting as it was, it's a freaking blast to see people's reactions when they pick up their art. When they pick it up and the LOVE it, man, it just makes everything feel right.
I'm so ashamed at my anatomy this year. Shame!
Speaking of commissions, here's one I took home from a lack of time. Right now it's just a sketch.
Orihime vs. Rukia for Kon.
I just got a new scanopier last night. We're having our honeymoon. It's so wonderful ;_; Bo gave up getting a DS LITE to get me this!
